How HEY Solar creates, reviews and updates information.

OUR STANDARD

Clear about what we know, where changing facts come from, what an online estimate cannot prove, and HEY Solar's role in the enquiry journey.

Published by HEY SolarReviewed: September 2026Great Britain

What we publish

HEY Solar publishes practical information about solar PV, battery storage, EV charging and commercial solar for people and organisations in Great Britain. Content is written to help readers understand decisions and prepare for a property-specific conversation — not to replace design, engineering, financial or legal advice.

How we review changing facts

Rules, tariffs, tax treatment, supplier offers and scheme details can change. Where a claim is time-sensitive, we prefer a current primary or authoritative source, show review context where useful and avoid presenting a temporary figure as permanent.

Corrections and uncertainty

If evidence is incomplete or sources disagree, we aim to say so rather than manufacture certainty. Material factual errors should be corrected when identified. You can flag a concern via info@heysolar.net.

Commercial independence

HEY Solar may generate enquiries and introduce suitable projects to installation specialists. Commercial relationships do not change the standard we use for factual content, and we do not attribute a partner installer’s accreditations or guarantees to HEY Solar itself.
